Ther Lodge Recording Studio: Very competitively priced, fully equipped, professional recording studio with Grand Piano and accommodation. Based in Northamptonshire, (Northants). Established 1980.
The Lodge has always been run by musicians and our senior staff between them have had many years experience both in the studio and on the stage. This means that the music always comes first and the technology plays its role in the background.
The studio was first established in 1979 by Robert John Godfrey and Stephen Stewart. Situated in a large farmhouse in the Suffolk countryside, it soon became one of the best known mid priced residential recording studios in the business with such artists as Kim Wilde, Katrina and the Waves, New Model Army, Mari Wilson, Marillion and Paradise Lost using it on a regular basis until 1988 when the owners closed it in order to concentrate on separate musical careers.
