Gracieland is the latest incarnation of a recording studio first established in 1989. It was built by Lisa Stansfield and her collaborators Ian Devaney & Andy Morris and was used in the making of Lisa's first album "Affection".
In time for Lisa's second album "Real Love" the equipment had been upgraded with the inclusion of an Amek Mozart console loaded with Rupert Neve modules. The album was recorded and mixed entirely at Gracieland. It was the sound of the Amek board that generated interest in the Amek 9098 that has since become the centerpiece of the studio. Now in its twelfth year Gracieland is established as a successful commercial recording studio ...

MPM Records - Digital Recording Studio, Practice Room for live bands and NVQ training centre running courses in 'Sound Recording'
MPM RECORDS was set up in September 1998, by Mark Pearce and Paul Sheppard.
MPM RECORDS have worked with Apache Indian and helped to produce several of his new tracks. We have also produced a track along with Apache Indian and Desmond Decker.
MPM RECORDS have also worked with Pras and produced several tracks with him.
MPM RECORDS have also produced a number of backing tracks for customers who have made it on to the show 'STARS IN THEIR EYES'.
In April 2000 MPM RECORDS became an approved Training Centre with the NCFE, to teach Level 2 Sound Recording. MPM have been teaching this course for 2 years now and all of our 100 students have successfully passed the course. Some have gone on to Further Education, others became self-employed as Singers, DJ's etc ...
