He was born on January 31st, 1973 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He took classical trumpet lessons with Professor Pascual Mazzitelli (former member of the Teatro Colón Orchestra).
Then he developed jazz improvisation as self-taught, and ever since 1992 he has been a player member of a number of jazz bands in different styles such as Traditional for the Creole Jazz Band (1992-3) and the Bohemia Jazz Band (1994-5); Modern for the Overtime Quintet (1994) and the Mariano Tito Big Band (1994) among others. Additionally, he has participated in different musical groups, recordings and live presentations as well as on the radio and TV.
Ever since 1997, Guillermo Perata has led the sextet “Los Rolling Stompers” as cornet and trumpet player and has also made the musical arrangements. “Los Rolling Stompers” have performed on the most important stages in Buenos Aires ...
