The Weekend Warrior:
As Erik was growing up, he always encountered the same question in life. How to combine his love for Synthesizers and a way to make people happy. In his teenage years, House music just started poking its nose around his suburban neighborhood, and alas, Erik now knew what he had to do. Around 1992, Erik started making techno and house with Greg Price, a prominent Vancouver drummer who also had an interest in the early forms of Detroit and UK musical styles and started a project called Phaedra.
In 1995, after the first CD was released, titled 'Sommeil' (bluwasys prod), Phaedra went on to playing performances/djing across North America, opening for such visionaries as Derek May, Kevin Saunderson, Spacetime Continuum, Meat Beat Manifesto, EBN, Paul Johnson, Russ Gabriel, Frankie Bones, Astral Matrix, Moby, Hybrid, Haujobb, Dhs, Donald Glaude and many others at countless parties, clubs and outdoor festivals. After completing a handful of remixes and compilations and selling out of the 2000 copies of their CD, Phaedra signed with Quantum Loop Rec. in SF. The project was renamed Hemisphere and appeared on the DarkTekno909 Compilation in 1997. Other appearances included a compilation for Lowdown Rec. (Vancouver) as Phaedra and a remix for Numb on Metropolis Rec. (NY) during 1997/1998.
Hemisphere then released their debut EP 'selftitled' cd/12" for Quantum Loop. This was followed by a 12" remix single including a remix by DJ Ufo (phuncatek Crew SF), all dist. by Caroline US/Outside Ca ...
DJ Malcolm Paul: Home page of the progressive DJ from Lincoln, UK.
In 1991 a thirteen-year-old Malcolm Paul started writing music with computers. This led to an interest in DJing and by the summer of 1995 he had received his first residency, having learnt to mix a year earlier. Assuming the alias Tom Sawyer he was offered sets at nearly every hard dance music event in and around his hometown, the English city of Lincoln.
As well as nightclubs in Sheffield and Gainsborough he played at venues as diverse as a barn in the village of Metheringham and a country club in Ashby De La Launde. He stopped using the Tom Sawyer alias in 1997 to coincide with a new deeper style and was asked to be a resident at a prominent Lincoln bar, which he left after nearly three years to recommit himself to the underground scene.
One of the ways he achieved this was to take an interest in the scene of North America and Malc has worked for Washington DC-based promoter and DJ collective StoneFinger Productions since 2000. StoneFinger helped organise Malc's tireless 2002/2003 tour of North America - in 10 nights he played at 8 events (5 clubs, 2 radio shows and a TV show) in the US and Canada, which he was invited to talk about on BBC Radio Lincolnshire in spring 2003 ...

Tal Fu:
TaI/|\Fu is none other then Matthew Suarez. Originally from Philadelphia Pa. He relocated to Florida @ age 11. Learning much and gaining his Delphia flavor. Matt has had music on the mind since birth and before. In school he was reprimanded for making bleeps and sounds in class. Never realizing this would actually become his future. He continued flowing and making what were only noises at the time. It was his love and motivation and he would make these sounds with every and anything. As time moved on life was not going the direction he wanted and he felt the things that mattered most were missing. He had to find these things and especially different wayz of education. He felt that society was not fulfilling his thirst for knowledge and truth. He became infested with drugs and melodramatic anarchy ...
Matthew D Suarez AkA TaI/|\Fu:
Matt has been Djing since 1996.. In the beginning it was 4 total release and fun. He made several appearances at house parties some clubs and was called in a few times as an emergency fill in DJ @ raves. Eventually Matt felt he had something to say and friends as well as promoters egged him on to share this with others. Always willing to bust an enlightening groove where ever he sees fit his growth and knowledge for the music seemed to expand very rapidly. His taste is very different and he always seems to incorporate such an original and unique style. In 1997 he was called in for an emergency fill in @ a rave. He was to play in the VIP area all night ... after getting over his fear and settling in his groove and obtaining several positive comments. He realized that to be himself and to enjoy what he does is why he was there in the first place. After that night he was way down with performing and knew it was something he could and wanted to do ...

Deejay Capone: The saga begins… Dee Jay Capone started DJ-ing at the age of 15 in South Florida. He grew up listening to hot DJ's on the radio such as; DJ Laz from Power 96, Trech DJ, Mr. Mixx from 2 Live Crew, Jealous J, Jock D and Jam Pony.
In his neighborhood, every block had a DJ. Making it a very competitive environment. They would battle for equipment, and names. Dee Jay Capone started as DJ Ace, and as he lost a battle he had to give up the name. Then he became DJ Boom, that name was kept for quite some time.
In 1989 his family moved to J-Ville, Florida. And that was the beginning of the infamous Dee Jay Capone. The Ville wasn't as fast pace as the south. It was a different world…Dee Jay Capone would come home and from school and dedicate his everything to his two turntables. He then started listening to DJ Magic Mike's tapes. Dee Jay Capone would try to imitate him, learning how to scratch. Eventually one day…it paid off ...
