Thigpen's Techno Music page:
In the beginning .. was music ... house and techno. And they ignored it but it became bigger and people of all nations came together in order to dance. They called it a hype and said it was over - but it still developed and grew into a movement. And now they're trying to forbid it. But they can't stop it. Forward ever .. backward never ... Mayday, the Judegment Day.
Here's some of my cd-collection. Most were bought but others were gifts from Todd Wilkinson (DJ Liquid Todd of Spin Cycle) I tried to categorize them as best I can. However, I'm more of a person who just likes to dance and not care what I'm listening to. In other words, rather than collect and memorize some damn baseball cards, I'd rather play the real game. Besides, I probably can't even enumerate all the different types never mind discern which are which. So, I've been forced to bug Andrew Bennett to help me categorize albums. Anyways, the titles with asterisks have sound files that are downloadable for your enjoyment.

Follow my trip into electronic music and feel with me all the emotions that it can give us. You'll never be unsatisfied by this kind of feeling: it's something that always changes its shape and it's never the same. If you want to evolve yourself you have to get involved in this endless, warm and deep music spiral.
Here you can find some stuff about my favorite artists and the best links to their homepages. Knowing well that it's quite impossible to give complete information about them, I will try to say something personal about this music and I wish you could send me your opinions too.

Site primarily about musicians Freedom of Sound, also showcasing a London underground techno studio and other associated artists.
Freedom of sound have been about since about 1990 with their first release 'A Kiss' being made and punted round the shops and distributors DIY style with the help of Existence.
Going on to merge forces with Choci (known for his Chewns and bad spelling) to set up a bit of a wikid studio in Soho; a year holed up in there brought a fair few releases on Aura and Chocis Chewns and a bit of a rep for the Acid sound. This was then transformed into a live thang with spots at such noisy places as Megahippolis, Turnbul Energy and The Final Affrontier at Cub UK as well as a couple of Live Broadcasts for Mushroom FM in Cambridge thanks to nice people like Mr. Smith and Lulu from Clueless ...

Aciddome: Brings you Acid, House, Techno and other 303 related stuff.
While I was recording some of my old productions from the middle nineties on my pc I rediscovered some old radio broadcasts I recorded back in 1992. Next to some cool Ben Liebrandt remixes I found some old snippets of broadcasts from a dutch radio program called Rave Radio, hosted by Adam Curry. I recorded over most of the stuff when I got into hardcore but there was still about half an hour of material from three separate broadcasts left, so I recorded those too, stuck em together and put them up. Some classics there, some unknowns too. If anyone can fill the blanks in the tracklist that’d be appreciated, especially the last track!
