Three Rivers Gospel is from the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area and they have been ministering in music and word since March 1998. Members of the group all share many years of experience in the gospel music field and have made a commitment to God and to each other, to share the gospel and serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The Sojourners:
It was Friday February 13, 1981. The room was filled with some 20 couples, sitting at tables decorated with red roses in small vases. On the walls were pink and red paper hearts. After a brief introduction, two men and two women in color-coordinated outfits stepped up to their microphones. The music began. They started to sing.
This was no upscale group. Their equipment was a cobbled-together conglomeration of home stereo speakers, and old sound system and a clutch of store-brought soundtracks. A pianist accompanied the songs they didn’t have tracks for. Yet there was a marked sincerity to this group, and a love for the Lord that couldn’t be denied.
It is now 2001, and the Sojourners have come a long way since that February night more than twenty years ago. Their sound system is top- notch, and professional speakers have replaced those old home speakers ...

3. movin' up
Movin’ Up, from Winterville NC, has been singing for 15 years. The group started in 1988 singing two to three dates per month, usually within a 50-mile radius of their homes. Since then, through the Lord’s blessings, they have ministered from New York to Florida, appearing up to 125 dates per year.
The main priority of the group is to see souls saved, and to see people rededicate their lives to the Lord. All members of Movin’ Up are members of Bible believing churches. They are also committed to gospel music and, most importantly, to our Lord.

Apryl Caldwell accepted Christ into her life the summer of 1965, however, it wasn't until many years later that she really came to know who Jesus is and learned that true joy comes from a relationship with Jesus Christ. It's that joy that she wants to share with others.
At the start of Gospel Sounds Duet, Steve and Apryl had no idea of how much God had planned for them. The knew that they had the call to reach others through the medium of gospel music. Together, they began locally doing nursing homes, churches and conventions.
