Reflexion Arts, 20 años en la vanguardia de la ACÚSTICA.
Reflexion Arts fue fundada originalmente en 1980 por el Anglo-Ruso Alex J. Weeks, cuya intención era gestionar las operaciones comerciales de Albert Cooper, cuyas famosas flautas de oro y plata siguen siendo usadas por músicos de la talla de James Gallway. En 1983, durante un concierto del ex-flautista de Eurythmics Tim Wheater, Alex Weeks conoció a un ingeniero acústico y ingeniero de sonido de gran prestigio llamado Philip Newell. De este encuentro resultó un acuerdo entre Newell y Weeks con vista a expandir la actividad de Reflexion Arts al ámbito del diseño de estudios de grabación y que tuvo como primero resultado, durante 1984, el Court Studio de los Estudios Jacobs en Farnham, Inglaterra.
La vuelta de Philip Newell al diseño acústico se dio dos años después de haber vendido sus acciones de la Virgin Records con la cuál había pasado 10 años como director técnico. Durante esa época con Virgin fue el fundador del Manor Mobile y el diseñador de sus dos primeros camiones. Su trabajo con los estudios móviles empezó en 1970, mientras trabajaba para Pye Records, con la cual pasaba la mayoría de su tiempo en el estudio móvil ...
