"Back in 1994, I founded FAR (Fundamental Acoustic Research) on an idealistic belief, or so it seemed at the time. I firmly believed that the best speaker was only as good as the environment it was played in. Today, I still hold that same belief.
Therefore, my team and I have always endeavoured to give the listener that magical feeling, by developing a perfect combination between speaker and acoustics. As an addict of that feeling myself, I know how important it is to catch the listeners perception in a few milliseconds or lose it for good.
As time went by, I also noticed that, although people listen differently all over the world, the one unifying factor was the hunger for the newest technology. With this in mind, we have always priced ourselves on keeping ahead in every field of development, successfully incorporating new technologies from active speakers through to digital.
This being said, you will easily understand the care we put in research, in producing and installing our speakers and our studios. Nothing less than perfection will do, I am adamant about it. We want more than our client's satisfaction, we want them to experience pleasure in a very special way.
