Since 1987 , Liberty has incorporated a high standard of hand craftsmanship with technology to produce the finest quality resophonic guitars. Even though modern technology is an important part of our production technique, all Liberty instruments are built in the classic resophonic tradition.
When pondering how Liberty Guitars got its name , one might imagine it symbolizes being set free from the bounds of life through playing slide guitar, "yeah but not exactly," says Bill Blue. He recalls, "There was a little diner in North Carolina where the band used to stop on road trips, always four or five in the morning. It was called the Liberty Diner. They had this big neon sign for the business, but the Diner part of it didn't work. So in the twilight of the night we would see only the word "Liberty" for about half mile before we got there. It was a great place to unwind after a tiring gig and long road trip. One night while we were there talking about guitars, someone asked me what's the name of my guitar company. The words just came out........ Liberty Guitars. Even our logo is a reflection of that sign. The diner has been closed for years now and the sign is gone too, but those warm memories live on. It would be great to have that sign in our shop." "But you know," Bill says, "Playing slide guitar does set you free."

Pashini Guitars: Custom hand made electric and acoustic guitars.
I am a craftsman builder of custom hand made Electric and Acoustic Guitars. I discuss all your needs to building this guitar to your specifications. My goal is to build custom guitar's that are one of a kind, precision instruments. (and at a affordable cost to you) Each guitar is hand made from the finest materials available. I make 8 to 12 guitars per year. Custom means choice of woods plus many other features...you the buyer choose. The body can be made of Swamp Ash, Alder, Walnut, Bubinga, etc. (You name it... I'll get it) Each guitar body wood has a distinct tone and sound. I also chamber the body's on some woods to cut down on the weight. Tone chamber's add to the sustaining tone.
The more dense the wood the more cutting tone and sustain you get, like Swamp Ash, Walnut..... and other hard woods. The same goes for the neck. The harder woods generate more sustain . With the softer woods like Honduran Mahogany you will get a more mellow sound. On my necks, I use one piece Honduran Mahogany or Birds eye Maple. Each wood has its own sound. I also like to make 3 and 5 piece necks to add color and contrast. I like to use a double-action truss rod. This type of truss rod offers adjustment capabilities as well as several other advantages. I also do custom inlays, binding on the necks, body, or around head stock.
There are many types of fingerboard woods that add to the sound,... and many to choice from. Ebony, Rose Wood, Maple, and Amazon Rosewood. Lets discuss and pick one for you. (there are many more choices you can pick from too). I like to pick a head stock veneer to enhance the overall appearance of the guitar..... to fit the look.... with the body wood and fingerboard.
Hardware can be custom ordered to fit your guitar. (Pick ups, Bridge , Tremolo Bar with or with out..... and Tuning gears). The type of Fret Wire jumbo, tall, medium, or standard . I can custom finish your guitar of choice duo, triple or sunburst colors. Custom means you get to make the choices ...
Lutherie and guitar repair in Ridgway, Colorado,
imarron Guitars was established in 1980 on a high, dry plateau in Southwestern Colorado, near the town of Ridgway. The dry, relatively mild climate is ideal for making accoustic and electric guitars.
We use only tried and true construction techniques, with no inferior materials, and are currently producing 30-40 instruments per year.
We keep a good selection of our instruments on hand, but custom orders are welcome and encouraged. Variables such as neck shape, fingerboard width, fret size, woods, pickups, hardware, inlays and finishes all help to personalize any instrument.
