Its origional purpose was as to provide a test environment for some new DSP software.
With the addition of a GUI it becomes an interesting VSTi of its own.

The basic idea behind this synth, as it's name suggests, is to offer a wide variety of ways to create automated motion of the synth's sound. This is achieved by the use of 4 envelopes, 8 LFOs, three 16 step CV sequencers, and a filtered delay module...all of which can sync to your host's midi clock.

Le Synthé V4version est la quatrième version de mon émulateur de l'AKS d'EMS. Cette nouvelle version ne fonctionne plus qu'en version plugin (VSTi). Elle est compatible avec tous les logiciels gérant les plugins VST, RTAS et AU. Une des particularités les plus remarquables de la version analogique se situe dans la matrice permettant de connecter les modules entre eux. La matrice occupe donc la partie centrale du logiciel. Cette nouvelle version est toujours aussi fidèle à l’original. En effet, j’ai repris très scrupuleusement le graphisme de l’interface. J’ai aussi travaillé sur un VCS3 pour échantillonner les formes d’ondes originales. Bien évidemment, il contient aussi de nouvelles fonctionnalités directement liées à la numérisation (MIDI, système de signaux de contrôle plus élaboré, etc.) ...
