Water Glass:
-Reduce noise with a true FFT-based broad spectrum algorithm
-Create liquid, glassy textured pads.
I wrote this to learn about FFT-based processing, and as a tool to use in sound design. I was more interested in the "burbling" artifacts that happen when "too much" noise reduction is applied. However, this plugin also does a pretty decent job of "clean" noise reduction when the depth control is lower. When you consider that commercial noise reduction plugins can cost between $250 and $800, this one is pretty good value!
Glitchgirl: Practical Use = Glitchy Percussion Accompaniment.
Mainly you insert GlitchGirl as an FX on your drum track, then you tweak the "Nipple Knobs" and the "Naughty-Bit Knob" until you get your desired glitch. Now, you turn GlitchGirl to about halfway using your hosts wet/dry mix. Blammo! Your original drums now come through whilst GlitchGirl follows them, givin' ya that there "glitchy grainy shadows" thing I was goin' on about.
Tempo sync reverser:
Reverses the sound for a set amount of time (set according to note length) when the Reverse button is pressed. Probably best in a live environment, hence the option to assign a MIDI CC or note to trigger the reversing operation.
