All this in a very nice small village near the city of Groningen, The Netherlands, Europe. We have great place in the countryside where it is relaxed, peacefull and nice. We use the technology of the 21 th century. Recordings are made on a computer based harddisk-recording system (NUENDO). It is also possible to use our ADAT recorders. Audio XL records digitally. So what? Today’s modern music medium is CD. Like it or hate it, the CD is here to stay. Vinyl lovers will hate us for saying this but for all it’s criticism, the CD is a far superior and versatile musical platform.
The sound quality which a CD is capable of reproducing is actually beyond that which the human ear can hear (from below 20hz up to in excess of 20,000hz).
The differences lie in the recording and copying methods. Vinyl and tape recordings are referred to as ‘analogue’, where as CDs are recorded digitally (as are Minidiscs, MP3s etc.).
